THE SAND SERIES

Noah Waterous is a Canadian-born artist raised in the Bahamas, whose sculptural works explore the tension between what is fleeting and what endures. Waterous captures marks, words, and gestures that were never meant to last, preserving moments such as a name traced before the tide comes in or a message pressed into fresh snow before it melts.

The result is work that is both playful and contemplative. Each piece draws from a familiar kind of memory, a first day on the mountain, an afternoon at the beach, a note left for someone to discover, and preserves it in lasting form. The natural materials bring a tactile, raw presence to the wall, inviting viewers to look closer and reconnect with a place, a moment, or a memory of their own.
